Yeah we did it!
5 of us from 11 who started with the desire to reach the top finally made it after more than 2 hours of strenuous trekking and mental work. Can't express my joy in words, but it was really the most difficult journey of my life.

After leaving around 8 am on saturday,we took no time in reaching NH4,the road which connects 2 IT biggies,Bangalore and Pune.We had more than breakfast soon after reaching the highway. It was sunny yet windy day and nobody was in mood to chill down.We speeded our way to reach Tumkur with our bike's speedometer touching 80's and 90's many times. After reaching Tumkur,we took a right for Madhugiri and reached the base in quick time.Had water there and started our trek.It looked pretty easy to begin with.We had water and steps to move forward.Things started getting tougher with people in our group started retiring.A slippery area was more than enough to keep half of us coming up.After that there was steep ascend with almost nothing to hold.I must say,we almost made our mind to go back. But it was only after one of our adventorous friend finally crossed it,we decided to move.It was never easy up.5 of us were moving up with good pace. But the height of the top was something mischievous which we could never guess. We were all thirsty and top was playing hide and seek game with us.We kept climbing and after long time,we reached our goal.Fort was conquered and we were in all joy and top of heaven.Awesome was the panoramic view.We were almost 3900 feet up on top of one of the biggest monolith of Asia almost touching many of cloud vapours.
